"Soul Rebel" was first released by Bob Marley and The Wailers in 1970 as a part of their Lee Scratch Perry produced album: Soul Rebels. Marley, one of the most recognized names in reggae music, initially co-wrote this song in collaboration with Perry. Bunny Wailer released a version of Soul Rebel on his Tribute album in 1981.
